We are now finally in Lander, Wyoming, where we will be involved with the high school students on the Shoshone Indian reservation. Indiana finally connected with Leith and his brother Judd. If you can believe this, they are staying at a llama farm. We would never do something like that. It was really neat. It was like a log cabin tiny home. I got to see the llamas. As soon as I was within range, the guard llama sound of the alarm, and all of the others (must’ve been 50 of them) came charging; quite an experience. They then took us on a hike, a mile and a half up a mountain. Well, it would have been a mile and a half if we made it up the entire path. I could’ve gone further, but was feeling sorry for Richard. He did try.
Leith and Judd then had Richard drive us to a dam on the reservation, full of gravel, dust, and bird stuff on his brand new car. He could’ve handled it better.
We finish the day at a restaurant, with a very friendly server, who told us all about the life she was expecting to have. It was very touching.
It was a good day.
Duchess.
Congratulations on reaching your destination. What a trip!
Duchess,
Lander huh? Who knew there was such a place – only Leith and Steve Woolley, I think. So happy to hear of your continuing adventures. We will all share “your” journey for years. So much fun to go along from the comfort of our home.
I know the teenagers you meet and teach are going to love you so much and maybe Richard too!
Miss you.
Lily
Bravo! Welcome to Landers! What an exciting adventure so far.
Duchess ,
I’m so glad you finally have your friends there to do things with. But I don’t know; I think staying in that little log cabin with the lamas nearby might have been great fun.
Can’t wait to see you in the classroom and to find out what you learn as you “moniter” the lessons.
Oh, and “Hi” to Richard.

Yahoo! Remember it’s not the destination
, however your destination sounds exciting also, but the journey and yours certainly has been awesome so far!

Duchess we haven’t heard from you and were worried that Richard made another poor decision. Glad to see all is well.
