My Indian Name is Nee-e-hee heth

Today was my last day with the kids. Sad. But they gave me an Indian name. It means Eagle Dog. I am it. I am Nee-e-hee heth

We had the results of the photo competition today. The kids were really into it all week long. Pictures of me were 50% of those submitted for the competition. That is because I am Eagle Dog. I have asked Indiana to change his license  plate from Royal D to Niiehii he3 (Nee-e-hee heth)

Since it was our last night we went to a local steak restaurant and Indiana fed me steak under the table. People watched me eat. That is because I am Nee-e-hee heth.

Tomorrow we go back to Deadwood. I will do more work looking into my Doodle western ancestry.

Until then, I am

Eagle Dog

  1. Eagle Dog!!! I like it! Glad to see Indiana in a couple pictures, I was beginning to think you left him somewhere along the way.

  2. Duchess,
I’m not sure Williamsburg is ready for Indiana and Nee-e-ee heth. The students obviously loved you and honored you with that name. (Indiana, on the other hand, was just because of a hat.) But you are royalty back home. You’ll always be Duchess to us. Safe travels and enjoy your ride back to VA.

  3. It’s been fun traveling along with you and Indiana Richard as you have experienced the West.
You will have wonderful memories, tales to tell, and enough photos to reopen your gallery.
Looking forward to your return .

  4. So sad to see you are leaving already. Can’t wait to see some of the pictures the children took. Royal Eagle is a very nice name , but you will always be Duchess to me. 💕 Safe travels, there are so many friends waiting for you and Richard in Williamsburg.

  5. Indiana and Neeeheeheth, what a great trip! Thanks for taking us along. Safe home.
