I can tell you he is driven (but maybe misdirected)

All- we did a lot today. The weather was good and Indiana Richard wanted to get as much in as possible and (he made me say this) I haven’t been able to adjust to Mountain time. So I got him up at 4 am (6 am in Williamsburg ). Since he was awake and Mount Rushmore opened at 5 am, that is where we started. I can’t tell you the number of people who wanted to have their picture taken with me.

The Indian version, Crazy Horse Monument, was not far, so we did that next. Not much from this Dog’s point of view. 25 minute movie (BORING).

But the best of all was the ice cream at Devil’s Tower. Richard has a Law School reputation of trying to buy affection with his students. Works for me. Devil’s Tower was the focal point in the movie Close Encounters. Pretty neat.

The next best part of the day was the wolf we saw that Indiana wasn’t quick enough to capture. And the 2 antelope that you won’t see either. He is so busy deciding which camera to use, he misses the moment. I have been trying to teach him the best picture is the one you capture. BUT WILL HE LISTEN??

  1. Duchess, of course you know that we keep up with you daily and always send you a comment. As yet, we have not received one reply ? Are you getting our responses? What’s up with that? Xoxo D, S, and Lily

    1. OMG Duchess!! This is your best blog so far. You are quite something describing your Indiana Jones shortcomings, especially those of his lack of capturing photo opportunities. For a dog, you sure have a great sense of humor and I do think you can laugh or at least grin. Keep having fun🥰

  2. Duchess, I see your stories of adventure coming to the big screen! Happy trails to you……
