In fact, they wouldn’t let me go in to see them. But it cost Richard $12. He said he enjoyed it and showed me a lot of pictures, Of course, to me they were all weird because I couldn’t see the same colors. This was in a place called the butterfly house. A Sioux Falls attraction. What was free was something called a sculpture walk along the blocks of the revitalized downtown. This I enjoyed. A lot of people were interested in meeting me and Dogs to chum with. It rained a bit, so I did get a chance to walk through Lowe’s. Nobody gave me treats – call me disappointed. We’re going back to town when the rain stops.
But the best of the day was the BEAR I met. BIG but not intimidating at all. Don’t know what the big thing is about bears. Foxes are much more dangerous.

Duchess, what bear did you meet? Was it one of the sculptures? Sorry to know you are still thinking about that terrible fox, but with time that memory will hopefully fade. Shame on those Lowes employees not having treats for you. They obviously aren’t as kind as the Lowes employees in Williamsburg. Do you stay in the Mini Cooper when Richard goes into places like the butterfly house? You are a very brave big girl to stay alone in order to let him visit places where you can’t go. I hope you enjoy tomorrow’s travels.
Hi Duchess, sorry you weren’t able to visit the butterflies but I think seeing a bear made up for the deficit in your doggie delights. Wow! A bear! I bet you are meeting lots of people as you are a beautiful girl and so polite too. Lily has been asking about you and we all miss you just driving by the house in our errand in the last 24 hours. We have lots of sharing to do when you return. Are you getting our comments – not necessary to reply to every one but we would hate to be just sending these into the atmosphere. Safe travels.
